Virtis Health Unveils Ambulatory Infusion Center to Serve Patients Throughout Greater Milwaukee and Surrounding Areas


Company Appoints Mary Yellick, FNP-C, to Lead Patient Care and Coordination


PEWAUKEE, WI - April 20, 2021 - Virtis Health, an innovative, national provider dedicated to therapeutic and diagnostic services and support for patients with complex conditions requiring specialty infusible and injectable medications, announced today the opening of its first Wisconsin Ambulatory Infusion Center (AIC).


Virtis Health Milwaukee offers a range of therapy management services and treatments for patients with autoimmune disorders, which includes chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP), multiple sclerosis and myasthenia gravis. Virtis Health also provides treatments for and manages patients with various inflammatory conditions, such as Crohn’s disease, rheumatoid arthritis and ulcerative colitis as well as primary immunodeficiencies and rare and ultra-rare diseases. It is conveniently and centrally located at 285 Forest Grove Drive in Pewaukee, Wis., just minutes off Highway 16 and Capitol Drive.


Concurrent with the opening of Virtis Health Milwaukee, the Company named clinical nurse practitioner Mary Yellick, FNP-C, to the position of AIC manager. Yellick, a nursing veteran, brings more than 30 years of related experience to her new role. Her experience spans neurological disorders, including CIDP, myasthenia gravis, autoimmune-mediated peripheral and autonomic neuropathies, including small fiber neuropathy, as well as other neuromuscular diseases. Throughout her extensive career,

Yellick held nurse practitioner positions in neurology at two large medical systems in the Greater Milwaukee and Ozaukee County areas, including those at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton and Froedtert Hospital, Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.


Yellick brings to her new role the relevant expertise to assess, diagnose, treat, and manage disorders relating to neurology and other pre-existing acute and chronic conditions. She has garnered a strong following throughout greater Milwaukee amongst patients, providers and health insurance plans alike.


In her new position, Yellick oversees the Virtis Health Milwaukee AIC, managing all patient needs, including clinical monitoring, both during and after treatment. Yellick also coordinates and manages care with other healthcare providers, health systems, health insurance plans and relevant community resources.
